If economic conditions permit, CNC lathes should be installed in isolation from ordinary machining equipment to facilitate repair and maintenance.
2. Equip several professionals for CNC lathes
This personnel should be familiar with the mechanical part, numerical control system, strong electric equipment, hydraulic pressure, air pressure, and other parts of the machine tool used, as well as the use environment, processing conditions, etc., and be able to use the numerical control lathe correctly according to the requirements of the machine tool and system instruction manual.
3. Maintenance and maintenance of CNC lathes without long-term use
When the CNC lathe is idle, it should always be powered on by the CNC system, and the machine tool should be locked to make it run dry. In the mildew and rainy season with high air humidity, electricity should be turned on every day, and the moisture in the CNC cabinet should be driven away by the heat of the electrical components themselves, so as to ensure the stable and reliable performance of the electronic components.
4. Maintenance and maintenance of the hardware control part of the CNC system
Have an experienced maintenance electrician inspect it once a year. Check whether the relevant reference voltage is within the specified range, such as the output voltage of the power module, the reference voltage of the numerical control unit, etc. If it is not normal, remove the dust; check whether the connection of the electrical components in the system is loose; check that each functional module uses a fan to run normally, and remove dust. Machine tools that have been out of use for a long time, should be turned on for 4 hours a month, which can prolong the service life of CNC machine tools.
5. Maintenance and maintenance of the mechanical part of the machine tool
After each shift, the operator should clean up the chips scattered on the pallets, guide rails, etc.; pay attention to check whether the chip conveyor is normal during work to avoid chip accumulation, damage to the accuracy of the guide rail, and endangering the life of the ball screw and guide rail. ; Before the end of the work, the servo axes should be returned to the origin and then stopped.
6. Maintenance and maintenance of machine tool spindle motor
The maintenance electrician should check the servo motor and spindle motor once a year. Focus on checking its operating noise and temperature rise. If the noise is too large, find out the cause, whether it is a mechanical problem such as a bearing or a parameter setting problem of the amplifier that matches it, and take corresponding measures to solve it. For the DC motor, its brushes, commutators, etc. should be checked, adjusted, repaired, or replaced to make it in good working condition. Check whether the cooling fan at the end of the motor operates normally and cleans the dust; check whether the connection plugs of the motor are loose.
7. Maintenance and maintenance of machine tool feed servo motor
For the servo motor of the CNC lathe, maintenance should be carried out every 10 to 12 months, and the machine tool with frequent acceleration or deceleration changes should be maintained every 2 months.
8. Maintenance and maintenance of machine tool measurement feedback components
Detecting elements use encoders and grating rulers, but also use induction rulers, magnetic rulers, resolvers, etc. The maintenance electrician should check whether the connection of the detection element is loose and whether it is contaminated by oil or dust once a week.
